Dear readers, while I may have been at this Blog-gaff for well over a month now, I’ve only just discovered the “moderate comments” function, and of course, all your wonderful, supportive comments.
Mrs Donkey will attest to my being a complete pain in the ass (pardon the pun) over the last few weeks as I was becoming increasingly despondent that no one was commenting (a fact which, I reasoned, indicated that no one likes the ramblings of a travelling, talking Donkey), but now I find 23 wonderful comments, scattered across DonkeyBlog (some of them are even legitimate, non-spam comments!), and I have been re-born.
So to all of you who are reading, thanks … and to those of you who have commented, thank you so very, very much! I promise to get onto your comments over the next couple of days, and to have a squiz at your own sites.
Cheers … he-haw!

Hey Donk...it's Cakey...
Anyway, I've been blogging for well over a year and a half...the blog I blog at now is my third and all my readers have very lovingly followed me from blog to blog although I don't know why. You just have to blog about real stuff (not to be confused with boring stuff) and read other peoples blogs and leave sincere heartfelt comments or funny comments and people will come to your blog too. This is the first I've read...but I'm gonna go on and read some more.

Well hell-oh Cakey ... I feel thoroughly flushed and nervous at receiving so esteemed a visitor. I was worried for a coupla days there as I thought you might have uped stumps and moved sites again (sorry, cricket-ism ... I mean, changed site locations), but yesterday I saw that you were back.
Thanks so much for visiting ... hope the move goes well for ... Friday, I think, isn't it?
Donkey
Haha.
You silly donkey!
(This is meant in the best way possible, of course)
Anyway, glad that your spirits have been lifted by the comments.
:)
(And just so you know - don't worry, you're not the only one - I only discovered my blog's "moderate comments" function about 2 months after)
Hey There...you're funny hee-haw man.
Caught your comment on PartonWords and it reminded me of our newest employee at work (who we adore!)...
Her nickname is "sheep shagger" and she loves "fesh and cheps".
The biggest shock we had to cope with, given that we work in the insurance industry, was this. We send out alot of declarations, and we shorten that word to "decs"...
Need I say more? One day I asked her to say "Dec" and then "dick"...and there was no difference between the two.
Ha ha, she is gorgeous, and can also enjoy the joke.
So Donkey man, keep visiting the Aussie bloggers...
j - Thanks for stopping by ... yeah, I'm not too smart, but I can lift fridges ...
Shammy (or should that be Rocky?) - he heh, Kiwis ... aren't they fun to make fun of? I used to work with a lady from Nelson who used to reminisce about being at home and how, in the evenings, she used to enjoy sitting on her deck ... we always got a chuckle!
Hmmm "Shammy" sounds nice and clean and polished-like....and "Rocky" sounds like I wanna punch someone. Oh, we'll go with Shammy...I try to to get into violence..hehe
As soon as I get to work on Monday, I'm going to ask the sheep shagger if she has a deck!
